About Soimy village
Soimy is a small village in Khust district, Zakarpattia region, just 5 km from the Mizhhirya township. Unlike the more crowded Pylypets or Kolochava, Soimy still feels authentically Carpathian: wooden houses with carved facades, a mineral spring by the road, a small mountain river, forests where deer and roe deer still roam. There are no big hotels and no late-night cafés here — just a handful of private estates, among them Lisova Hatyna-CHAN.
Soimy belongs to Khust district administratively, but is tourist-connected to Mizhhirya. The result is a rare combination: real village silence + 10 minutes to the full infrastructure of a district town.

When to visit Soimy
Summer (Jun–Aug)
Peak season. Comfortable +18…+25 °C, clean rivers for swimming, polonyna hikes, berries, mushrooms. Active program: Shypit, Synevyr, Kolochava.
Autumn (Sep–Oct)
Carpathian "velvet" season. Golden forests, cool mornings, warm days. Fewer tourists, lower prices. The hot tub is especially good now.
Winter (Dec–Feb)
Snow from December through March. Skiing in Pylypets (24 km) or Mizhhirya (7 km). Winter hot tub with hot-to-snow contrast. New Year dates fill up 1–2 months ahead.
Spring (Mar–May)
Quiet season. Snow lingers in the mountains while the valley awakens. Lowest prices. Great for an unplugged escape without crowds.
