Pylypets is one of the most famous tourist villages in Zakarpattia: a ski resort, the long Mt. Hemba chairlift (1650 m) and the Shypit waterfall — one of the seven natural wonders of Ukraine — are right there. The downside: in high season the village is crowded, lodges sit close together and the noise lasts well into the evening.

Our estate, Lisova Hatyna-CHAN, sits in the neighbouring village of Soimy — 24 km from the Pylypets chairlift, 300 m off the nearest road, deep in the forest. You get full access to everything Pylypets offers, but you sleep in real silence.

Yes, many guests do exactly that — they sleep in our quiet forest cottages and drive 35–40 min each way to the Pylypets slopes. A hot tub in the evening is the perfect after-ski recovery.

Through Pidpolozzia and Pylypets villages — about 35 minutes by car. The last 500 m from the parking are walked along a forest path.

Accommodation in Soimy is usually cheaper than peak-season Pylypets, with the same comfort. Plus our hot tub is significantly cheaper than resort spa packages.

Not at the estate itself. The Pylypets lower lift station has several rental points for skis, snowboards and helmets — we will recommend the reliable ones.

Yes. The chairlift runs in summer too: 15 minutes up Mt. Hemba and you are on the open polonyna ridges. Summer Pylypets is quieter and arguably more beautiful than winter.
