Carpathian Vacation — No Crowds, Real Forest
Searching for a Carpathian vacation away from the tourist rush? Our estate sits 300 m off the road, deep in the Zakarpattia forest.
The Carpathians in 2026 — what to expect
The Ukrainian Carpathians are the most accessible and diverse mountain region in the country. Within a relatively small area you find world-class ski resorts (Bukovel, Drahobrat, Pylypets), authentic Hutsul villages (Kryvorivnia, Kolochava), natural wonders (lake Synevyr, Shypit waterfall), thermal pools and endless polonyna meadows. Most tourists pick 1–2 spots and stay in big resort hotels, but peak season brings crowds and inflated prices, and silence becomes a rarity.
The alternative: small family estates in quiet villages with access to the same attractions within a 30–40 min drive. Our estate Lisova Hatyna-CHAN in Soimy is exactly that — and the Zakarpattia side of the Carpathians is generally calmer than the Bukovel-dominated Prykarpattia.
