Choose Soimy if

  • You want real silence — even on New Year's Eve
  • You have a car and don't mind 30 min to the lift
  • You travel with small kids (no car traffic, more space)
  • You value savings — accommodation and catering are cheaper
  • You prefer forest aesthetics to open slopes
  • You plan to visit many Zakarpattia spots (Soimy is geographically central)

Pylypets specifics

  • Crowded and noisy in peak season
  • Significantly higher prices
  • Tough parking on weekends

Soimy specifics

  • Real silence — even on New Year

  • Closer to Synevyr and Kolochava

  • A car is needed for all attractions

We host ~500 guests per year. 80% say they were grateful for the silence even in winter (when proximity to the lifts would have been the "logical" choice). Only 20% wished they had stayed closer to the lifts.
