Pylypets in winter

In winter Pylypets is a full-fledged ski resort. The chairlift climbs 1650 m to Mt. Hemba (1490 m). From the top — slopes of all levels: gentle blue for beginners, a 15° red and a short black for advanced skiers. Season runs late December to mid-March. The base station has cafés, rentals and an instructor school.

Pylypets in summer

In summer Hemba is endless polonyna meadows overlooking the Borzhava ridge. A 15-minute lift ride puts you in the alpine world without an hour of uphill walking. From the top:

• Walk the polonyna (1–4 hours)
• Reach neighbouring summits — Velykyi Verkh, Hrabova
• Hike back down (~2 hours)
• Photos from 1500 m above sea level

Summer schedule: daily 09:00–18:00. Off-season: weekends only.

How to get there from our estate

1. From Soimy, north through Mizhhirya and Pidpolozzia.
2. Continue to Pylypets (~24 km).
3. Free parking at the lower lift station.
4. Drive: ~35 minutes.

Prices and tips

• One-way lift: ~250–300 UAH
• Day ski pass: ~600–800 UAH
• Ski/snowboard rental: ~400–500 UAH/day
• Least crowded — weekdays before 11:00
• Winter: layered warm clothing. Summer: sun and wind protection.
