Kelechyn Eco-Park and Mineral Springs — the Closest Attractions to Our Estate

Kelechyn eco-park

Kelechyn eco-park is a private area 10 km from our estate. It hosts a small collection of animals in comfortable conditions: horses, goats, rabbits, deer, ostriches, peacocks. Not a classic zoo — more a "petting" format where kids can stroke, feed and take photos. On site: a homemade-food café, a trout pond (you can fish), short forest trails. Symbolic entry fee (~50–100 UAH per adult, often free for kids).

Kelechyn mineral springs

15 km away, near Kelechyn village, several natural springs emerge right beside the road. Alkaline bicarbonate water with a slightly fizzy taste. Locals fill plastic bottles and drink regularly. Free, year-round, small wooden shelters next to each outlet.

Comparable to the famous "Polyana Kvasova" or "Svalyava" mineral waters in mineralisation and digestive benefits.

How to get there

1. From Soimy via Mizhhirya, heading south.
2. To the eco-park — ~10 km (10–15 min).
3. To the springs — ~5 km further (15–20 min total).
4. Combine with the Vuchkove geyser (17 km from us) in a single day.

Tips

• Bring cash to the eco-park — cards not always accepted
• Bring your own bottles (1.5–5 L) for the springs
• Weekends are busier at the eco-park
• Summer: closed-toe shoes (animals)
• Vuchkove geyser erupts every 1–2 hours — plan accordingly
